Introduction to Super 8: This practical, intensive two-day course demonstrates the accessibility and relative low cost of Super 8 as a medium for artists and filmmakers, focusing on creative filmmaking practice and accessible hand-processing techniques.

Day 1
- find out about the history of the format & discover how artists & filmmakers use Super 8 today
- get your hands on a camera and shoot your own super 8 film

Day 2:
- learn how to hand-process in a one-to-one session with an EXP24 facilitator
- try out super 8 projectors and basic editing equipment
- project your film as part of the collaborative final screening. Popcorn provided!

Camera-less/Direct Film (16mm): A hands-on workshop which can be adapted to suit all ages, abilities and experience. Participants create a collaborative hand-painted 16mm film and collaged analogue soundtrack, culminating in a collective film screening at the end of the session.

*We are constantly developing our workshop programme, and are in the process of devising an introductory 16mm filmmaking course and creative projection workshop. Watch this space for more details!
